Frozen Blueberry Smoothie Recipe





A blueberry smoothie sounds good?

Blueberries are are a fantastic choice for kids as they have no seeds and are naturally sweet when eaten raw. They are also a great source of Vitamin C and are high in antioxidants.

PREPARATION- Takes 10 minutes. 115g (4oz) of fresh blueberries, plus a few extra for decoration. 1 small banana, peeled and sliced, 100ml (3.5fl oz) apple juice, 4 tbsp crushed ice.

SERVE IMMEDIATELY- Put the blueberries, banana, apple juice and ice into a food processor or blender and mix until foaming and smooth. Pour into some small glasses and place a couple of blueberries on top of each one for decoration, and serve. Makes 2-3 servings.

Blueberries act not only as an amazing food source but also as a protector. They are rich in vitamins B1, B6, C, Biotin and Folic Acid. They are known to fight harmful bacteria, prevent cancer and boost your child's immune system.
