SCRAMBLED EGGS

PREPARATION- Takes 10 minutes

  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp butter
  • 1 tsp semi-skimmed milk/goats milk

    Beat the egg along with the milk in a small bowl. Over a gentle heat melt the butter in a small frying pan and pour in the mixture. Keep stirring until it is cooked through, but still nice and soft.

    Remove from the heat, allow to cool and serve immediately. Serve with a slice of wholemeal toast, a little butter and some marmite/vegemite or some Soft Vegetable Sticks.



    EGGY BREAD FINGERS

    PREPARATION- Takes 10 minutes

  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tsp semi-skimmed milk/goats milk
  • 2 tsp butter
  • 2 slices wholemeal/brown bread

    Beat the milk and egg together in a shallow dish. Melt the butter in a frying pan on a low heat.

    Dip both sides of each slice of bread in the mixture, making sure that it is all used up and fry both sides of the bread on a gentle heat for about 3-4 minutes or until golden brown.

    When done, cut into fingers and serve immediately.

    This recipe makes a scrumptious breakfast or lunch for your toddler.
