Extreme Berry Shake Recipe
Yum! Here is your extreme berry shake on its way.....
PREPARATION- Takes 5 minutes. 8 fresh strawberries, 4 tbsp fresh raspberries, 4 tbsp fresh blueberries, 150ml (5fl oz) strawberry fromage frais, 1 scoop natural youghurt and 125ml (4fl oz) semi-skimmed milk. SERVE IMMEDIATELY- Put ingredients into processor/blender and mix until smooth and foaming. You can add more milk if you would like a thinner shake. Pour into some tall glasses and serve with a long straw. Makes 2-3 servings.
Raspberries, and in fact all berries contain a substance called Lutein which is extremely important for healthy vision. These little delights are fine as a juice on their own but really come alive when added to other fruits and juices to make smoothies. Raspberries are packed with vitamins and minerals, beta-carotene, vitamin C, calcium, magnesium, phosphorous and sodium. Phew!!
