Fresh Fruit Salad

Yum! Here is your fresh fruit salad on its way...

PREPARATION- Takes 15 minutes

  • 7 fresh strawberries
  • 7 fresh raspberries
  • A generous chunk of watermelon
  • 1 ripe apricot
  • 1 ripe peach/nectarine

Wash all of the above to remove any dirt or residues. Next, cut the apricot and peach in half and remove the stones.

It is up to you whether you leave the skins on, some toddlers will prefer them without, but try before. Remove the stalks from the strawberries and cut the rind and remove the seeds from the watermelon.

Cut everything into nice bite sized pieces and mix together. You can either serve the salad on its own or with some yummy sorbet or ice cream.

This is a really healthy and refreshing dessert and also makes a great snack on a hot summer's day!

    This recipe makes 2-4 servings.
