Raspberry Mango Smoothie Recipe
Yum! Here is your raspberry mango smoothie on its way......
PREPARATION- Takes 10 minutes. 55g (2oz) fresh raspberries, plus a few for decoration, half a ripe mango peeled and cut into pieces , 1 small scoop of vanilla ice cream and 2-3 tbsp of milk (skimmed or regular). If you want to be extra healthy try swapping the vanilla ice cream for some natural greek yoghurt.
SERVE IMMEDIATELY- Put all the ingredients into a food processor/blender and mix until smooth. Pour into some small glasses, place a berry on top of each one for decoration, and serve. Makes 2-3 servings.
Mangoes are either oval, round or kidney shaped. The most popular varieties are Kent, Keitt, Haden and Tommy Atkins. A great option for growing kids as they are high in vitamins A & C.
When cutting slice it in half length ways, similar to a bagel. Make sure you use a sharp knife and cut into quarters. If you hold each piece down against a plate skin side up, the skin should pull away easily in your hand.
